Научное мероприятие организовано Юридическим институтом Иркутского государственного университета совместно с Ассоциацией бизнеса и права Южной Кореи и в сотрудничестве с Национальным университетом г. Чунгбук.

ИГУ плодотворно сотрудничает с корейскими высшими учебными заведениями. Сейчас в ИГУ обучается 80 корейских студентов, более 20 студентов ИГУ в рамках программ академической мобильности в этом году будут учиться в университетах Кореи. Также в ИГУ на базе Международного института экономики и лингвистики с 2006 года успешно действует Центр по изучению корейского языка. А 18 мая в Институте филологии, иностранных языков и медиакоммуникации ИГУ открылся корейский культурный центр «Окно в Корею» в рамках проекта «Korea Corner», реализуемого в партнерстве с Генеральным консульством Республики Корея в Иркутске.    
                      

Department of Oriental Studies & Regional Studies of Irkutsk State University is pleased to announce the interregional translation contest for students-koreanists. 
  We invite students who conduct research in Translation & Translation Studies and students of liberal arts who would like to practice translating. There will be no arrangement fee. 
  The winners will be rewarded with diplomas, and every participant will be rewarded with the digital certificate of participation. The winners will be chosen in five separate categories: the translation of journalistic text, the translation of scientific text, the translation of business letter, the translation of literary prose and the translation of poetry. 
  Deadline for submission: Sunday, March 5th, 2017.

On August 4^th, ISU International Institute of Economics and Linguistic met participants of the large-scaled cultural project named «The Train of Literary Conversations. The way to Eurasia» and realized on province Chonnam’s Department of education (Republic of Korea) initiative.
