The Center for Korean Studies (Institute of Oriental Studies - School of Regional and International Studies, FEFU) is pleased to announce The conference is organized by Center for Korean Studies and supported by the Core University Program for Korean Studies through the Ministry of Education of the Republic of the Korea and Korean Studies Promotion Service of the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS-2015-OLU-2250003). The Conference will focus on a broad range of topics related to Korean politics, economy and culture. The Conference organizers invite papers and presentation proposals relevant to theme of the conference. A paper with any of the following or related subjects would be appropriate for presentation:
All accepted papers will be published.
Venue: Far Eastern Federal University, Russian Federation. Dates: 18th - 19th May 2017
Organizing Committee welcomes to take part in conference by both presentation and sending a paper. All successful applicants will be expected to give a 15 minute presentationand will have to submit their full paper (not less than 10,000 characters) by 20th of May 2017. Working languages of the conference: Organizing Committee decided to accept presentations and papers in Russian, English and Korean languages.
Eligible Applicants: MA students, PhD students, Korean Studies Researchers from Russian and Overseas Universities. Accommodation: Accommodation in FEFU’s Campus (Russky Island) may be provided to all foreign (nonresident) participants. Please announce if such accommodation is necessary. The cost of in-campus accommodation is approximately 1,000 rubles per day. Transport: Unfortunately, due to the restricted budget, we are not able to offer any transport grant to participants. Participants are encouraged to seek financial support from their own universities.
