FEFU students arranged lectures on the distortion of early history of Korea PDF Print E-mail

Prof. Vadim Akulenko (Department of Korean Studies, Institute of Oriental Studies - School of Regional and International Studies, FEFU) gave two lectures on the latest problems of the ancient Korean history studies in the DPRK and the ROK.


Both lectures were dedicated to the problem of the distortion of the Early History of Korea made by the historians and researchers from the DPRK and the ROK. The first lecture was made on the evolution of theories of ethnogenesis of Korean nation in the DPRK. The next one was made on the so called “Oppositional” historical school of the ROK.

Not only students of FEFU but everyone who is interested in researching or studding Korea, including foreign students, could participate these lectures.

Both lectures were arranged by the students scientific club «Pacifica», organized by the FEFU’s students who are interested in researching the Asia-Pacific Region’s history, ethnology, politics, social development and economics.
